Does anyone have a rare disease?

Question

I was born with a rare disease called "The Hunter MacDonald Syndrome", my family is the only KNOWN people in the U.S. that has it and I'm in the Medical journal.
I'm just curious if anyone else on GaG has any rare disorders.

I have severe palmar and pedal hyperhidrosis. People would say I can live a normal life but some tasks are hard to do. Can't walk barefoot or with flip-flops or sandals. I can't right without damaging papers, it has also affected my self confidence. I avoided situations where I need to held some people's hands, manicures and pedicures. Can't really grasp a thing, hyperhidrosis is pretty common like 1 in 1000 people has it but my case is very severe. It's dripping wet all the time especially in summer. Typing this on my touchscreen phone takes forever and my phone is already dripping at the moment.

I have Celiac Disease. It's not rare but it still sucks. Sorry I can't view your video on my phone so if I may ask, what is your disease like? I just googled it and even Google couldn't seem to give me much information. Lol

I have a mitochondrial disease where high energy cells in my body supposedly don't function as well as those of a normal person.  This is supposed to affect mainly muscle cells and nerve cells, but my affliction of the disease is so minor that I'm barely affected whatsoever.  To me, it's so minor, that I really shouldn't even be considered affected.

I am diagnosed with psoriasis and vitiligo and I'm about 95 percent sure I also have schizophrenia (lots of symptoms of it and people who were diagnosed with it and talked to psychiatrists about it) :(

Wow, that sounds awful :( Hope you have a good medical team behind you.

My brother was born with something called Long QT syndrome. It's an abnormal genetic mutation that causes chaotic heart rhythms. It can make you faint or have seizures. My family didn't know about it until my brother got a seizure. It's treatable but at the time my brother had it, it was relatively unknown. He's been bedridden ever since :(

Sorry to hear that! I think i read that journal before...hope you are getting a right course of treatment. I'm also ill but umm it is not rare so.. Being ill is suck, hope you get better and wish you the best

I don't but my crush does he has a disease called Lupus Disease i honestly don't know if it's rare. But it has no cure it's an auto immune disease, where your white blood cells attack your own body.(that's what he told me)
