I used to have hundreds of nintendo power magazines dating back to the first ones in the late 80s for some reason i thought i should throw them out because i was 'done with video games' lol little did i know then. yeah i wish i kept them. got a lot of nostalgia with those.

I can only think of/ remember one, from when I was a kid. I had a mini, rock-star "amp" with buttons that played catchy rockstar music. Three types? I got it out of a cereal box.. newer generations will never know the gift those were lol- when they weren't cheap.
Anyways, I gave it to some elderly lady down our apartment building. I saw one time, how many things she had in her home, and saw it on a shelf I think? (she had tons of collectible toys a. k. a unused). Anyways, I missed it, and she was always smoking and so old and out and about. I just really didn't think she'd appreciate it as much as me. I saw it as VERY cool. It had to be used!
So I think I asked to "look" at it one time when she came over to my mom's place, and I- I don't know.. "forgot" (lol) to give it back. I basically "stole" it back from her. I don't know if she realized it or not, and I felt somewhat regretful, and...
I can't remember if I was happy or if it just seemed dull to me after that. I obviously don't have it today... I just felt the need to get it back because I wanted it, and believed I'd appreciate it the most, between us two.
Sometimes we miss things and it's not the same (occasionally).
Sometimes we want things only because we can't have them, but once we have it... it's ploop lol
