Sometimes the rain can be so peaceful, I feel the same way about snow. The rain is invigorating and the snow quiets the environment around you. Definitely been on plenty of backpacking trips where we had a day or two of rain. I've ridden my bike in every possible weather event (well, not a tornado or a hurricane.)

Now I said yes, but any good hiker knows and is aware of the dangers that weather brings. So as long as you know your limits and are prepared for it, then yes... it's amazing fun. But taking risks for the shake of risk taking is more dangerous than not planning for it and being prepared for it.

I did enjoy going out and about during thunderstorms... and I would even get up on the roof
that was till one day in which one lightning strike hit somewhere and left me blind and deaf for a full minute or so...
so, I do try not to love that kind of energy this close... since my late teens, lol... I have a farmers porch and I like to sit out there during a thunderstorm and just take it all in.
I went on an accidental hike once and it was terrible.
No way, a good way to get zapped β‘ and a good way to not hear something like a predator or foe, or anything for that matter, coming among all the wind and chaos and noise and lightning and booms. Lol. No thanks 👍 I'd seek shelter or stay in shelter.
Why make yourself a target for lightning?
I could see it being fun.
2th.
No, I love thunderstorms but that's too risky.
