You cut & paste 9 folders of music from a hard drive to a jump drive. You watch them going over but, only 4 of them made it! Where are the others?

I founded them! I accidentally put them into another of the folders as IT was coming over at the same time. I thought I checked all the folders but, I guess I didn't check that one.

Did the process stop midway? Maybe the second harddrive was full? or the folders couldn't be moved as one programm was accessing them?

No, because they were all in different places (4 here, 3 there, another one there) I had to copy them in 3 sets and had all three progress windows showing the the process at the same time. They all ended at slightly different times but, within about a minute of each other. When they were done, only the first bunch showed up in the destination and there was nothing left is the departure folder!
I just checked the destination on this computer and they're still gone! Guess I'll have to re-burn them all over again.

Some people think I have some kind of electrical or magnetic imbalance that keeps causing al this weird shit happening to me! I've had quite a few bizarre computer problems over the past 25 years and the techs I get to try to fix them say they've never heard of that problem before and have no clue what to do about it!
