How is it like growing up in a big house or mansion?

For me , i tried living in small house with 3floors (not as big as the pic) also tried apartment.
i noticed climbing stairs can get my knees hurt 😞 so i moved to somewhere small.
i really like huge houses tho.

I grew up in a huge house that was five bedroom. It had stairs and it was nice. I recently moved. I’m living currently with my brother and his house which is a two bedroom and my mom and I are having a house built behind my brothers house which is gonna be a three bedroom house after when that house is built. My mom and I are going to move to the three bedroom house behind my brother’s house.

My dad got a McMansion after his second marriage. I never liked living there, it never felt like home to me. It’s too big and there was no comfort in the distance, just a reminder of distance. It didn’t help that his parenting styles changed with his spouses so we felt pretty alienated in this house.

I see. Yea sometimes it brings inconvenience. Like when u forgot sths in another room then walk miles to get it back.
