I mostly write stories in my spare time, but I tried to take up painting again. It’s nice, and I enjoy seeing the product of my labor when I’m done

Who says you need to be? It’s not a competition, you can just make whatever you want. Make a 5 sentence story about a lobster, or a tiny painting of just your favorite color
