A show everyone knows and I heard a lot about growing up was the Simpsons. I never wanted to watch it growing up I thought the characters looked dumb but I alway heard about how it was a really good show especially the early seasons. And after seeing a few tik tok clips online I decide to check it outa few months ago.
And I get why the early seasons of this show are so beloved, it’s incredibly wholesome I’m on season 8 now and am loving my time with the show. From the characters to the jokes hit list of all the feel.
The last few years I’ve been feeling very nostalgic especially for old shows form my childhood and man I’ve loved the vibe of the simpsons I feel like a kid again when I watch this show. Especially because of the cell animation it has the season 1 of sponge bob feel something interesting sponge bob and shows from the 90s like Simpsons did a lot that was silence often times what I’ve noticed is the lack of use when it comes to sound in scenes.
More specifically music in sponge bobs first season there will be times where all you hearing is the sound of bubbles or the muffled sound of water in a scene or no sound at all beside the characters speaking.
Beside that the character interactions are a joy to watch especially Marg and Homer and even Bart and Lisa or just the characters as individuals. If your looking for a show that has that old school sponge bob feel from the first season and your feeling nostalgic I highly recommend checking the Simpsons out.
Cause where as sponge bobs moved to digital animation after it first season because of how late in the 90s it came out, the Simpsons came out way earlier and still has that cell animation use for even up to 8 seasons in and it’s awesome to watch.
