My only concern is, would this impact the industry to do the same?

Microsoft announced $80 games and a raised price for controllers, consoles, accessories, and more just like Nintendo did. I also heard rumors Sony is going to do the same.

If it isn’t trolling, why do corporate executives make such a push?

It increases short term profit margins, makes the company look good for investors, and if people buy then that is a vote to continue what works for them.

People have a right to be upset and outraged also confused because Joy Cons are marginally the same, unchanged since their controllers can drift overtime which Nintendo took 8 years not doing a thing about and now that is another 8 years to look forward to. Game Key Cards aren’t a physical game, it is only a checkpoint for the console to download a digital game onto the system also can’t function without the game card inserted at time of operation.

This is bad. Not for Nintendo Fans, but the gaming industry as a whole.
Is this what we really needed or wanted this industry to go?
What about innovation, taking chances, making a genuinely good product also good games for cheap. I don’t think I have to mention newer titles giving the consumer less than what they expected earlier on in the franchise’s life cycle (EA Games is guilty of that, along with others).
