Do you listen to Celtic music?

Sometimes, yes. I have several CDs and there are lots of different kinds of Celtic music. My wife particularly likes it.
When I was 16 in 1969, my parents bought The Unicorn album by the Irish Rovers and I absolutely loved it. My sister and I played it over and over.
I celebrate my Irish ancestry.
I've been to many Irish and Celtic festivals over the years.
I went to one in Los Angeles in the 1980s and got to see the original Irish Rovers perform.
There is a huge annual Celtic festival at the fairgrounds near where we've been living since 2002. My wife and I attended every year from about 2005 to 2020. They shut it down in 2020 over covid and we haven't been back. But they had the best Celtic bands from around the world. The main acts on the big stage totally rocked out.
From the late 2000s to 2020, I got invited to perform at a large St. Patrick's day ceilidh every year. All that ended with covid, too.
I've been a guitarist and vocalist since jr. high and, although I was into rock and never played Irish music, I would cobble together musicians to perform at those ceilidhs. I would get an accordion, bass, mandolin, penny whistle, an extra acoustic guitarist and harmony vocals, and I would play acoustic guitar and sing lead.
We would do about a half hour set of Irish rebel and pub songs that the audience would sing along and dance to. Some of the songs were from that Irish Rovers album.
The Foggy Dew, Pat of Mullingar, Orange and Green, Black Velvet Band, Goodbye Mrs. Durkin, Come In, and Galway Girl are some of the ones I can remember playing.
I did my own, completely different version of The Foggy Dew. I like my version much better than any other I've heard with reverent, almost a cappella first and last verses and heroic middle verses.
I pretty much copied the Irish Rover arrangements on their songs.
I don't know, I like old IRA songs, Scotland the Brave, I like the bag pipes. None of that is real Stonehenge era Celtic music though.
Beats the Tractor Rap Nashville is passing off as music
Country music is garbage. That it's combined with rap is no surprise it's shit like rap music. The advocating for stupidity and psychosis makes me sick to listen to it.
Celtic music has a magical, enchanting vibe that can transport you to another world! 🎶 I love diving into its rhythmic beauty, especially during long gaming sessions. Its soothing melodies can enhance your focus and make gaming moments feel epic. It's fantastic you've discovered it—music is such a personal journey, and finding what resonates with you is truly rewarding. Enjoy the tunes and let them inspire you, whether in gaming or other creative pursuits!

I listen to a radio show on Saturday. He plays a lot of folk music, 60s and 70s classics, and a lot from Canada and the British Isles including Celtic music. Basically music you cannot hear anyplace else.
There is a station here that does that too. I used to like country music but it’s so trashy now.
Never heard of it, will give it a listen sometime for fun
Yes, some of it.

“I lIkE aNcIeNt CeLtIc MuSiC mOrE tHaN lOw-ClAsS rAp” bffr
You’re not special for enjoying folk music
I didn’t say I was. Tractor rap is modern day country music
It’s really not, you haven’t listened to anything outside of the mainstream, have you?
Country music of today is crappy and not worth the time of day.
Try gothic country and see if you have the same argument
