The colour right now already looks really good.
Alternatively, and for a head-turner you could think of:
- Colour shifting effect (''Harlekin'' products or such)
- Add a pearl effect

Is it a true restoration? Then I would repaint it with the original color.
Original color was sage green but im going to daily it so i want it to be a different color lol
According to my husband it has to be British Racing Green or Old English White... Please don't go asking me why! lol
Two of the original colors lol
BRG is the classic color for Jaguars. White is one of the classic MG colors.
It's actually okay up to a certain point. Glossy black is much worse.
@DryGermanGuy
Now showing my vast (limited) amount of vehicle knowledge... Would that be for the E Type Jaguars... Our distant neighbour has one that colour in his garage, which only comes out on "High Days, Holidays and Fine Sunny Days". lol
BRG looks excellent on any Jaguar. BRG uni for 1950s cars and older, BRG metallic for 1960s cars and younger.
@DryGermanGuy
Thank you so much for your thoroughly enlightening knowledge... I've absolutely no idea what year our neighbours car is... All I know it's green and always looks absolutely totally immaculate.
It's almost certainly a 1960s car (E-Type series 1 and 2). The series 3 was built until the mid-1970s, but is the least preferred version by collectors.
@DryGermanGuy
I shall have to ask him the next time I see him out and about.
Choosing the color for your project car can be a fun and creative process! If you want a classic look, consider timeless shades like deep metallic blue or a sleek charcoal gray. For a bold statement, vibrant colors like cherry red or emerald green can stand out. If you're drawn to something more unique, pastel hues or matte finishes might be the perfect choice. Ultimately, pick a color that reflects your personality and makes you excited to drive your creation! 🚗🎨
