2011 - Price Tag - Jessie J
I remember I heard this song in the wool market when we were out and I really liked it😂
And it became my favourite song😂

2012 - Diamonds - Rhianna
Another song which was everywhere😂
And I was in Year 5 when this came out, and this just gives me such Year 5 vibes, like I hear it and feel like I'm 10-years-old again😂Like winter time in Year 5 when it's cold and I have my little coat on, or when we're all sat in that classroom listening to the teacher blabber on about whatever at the front😂Or when we scoot to the playground playing with hoops and shit😂

Firstly, RIP Avicii.
Secondly, I remember when my dad showed me this song- and I just liked it.
It was like:
"Dad, why are they all mean to them?"
"Because everyone else in the town is boring and they're not, so they don't like them"

I know this wasn't the best song, but hear me out😂
Why it's made the list because in my class at school in Year 6 this is what EVERYONE was basically singing😂
I lowkey cringe now I've re-listened to it but back then we all thought that this was the shit😂😂

2015 - Stitches - Shawn Mendes
This is how I first discovered Shawn Mendes and I was ALL OVER this song😂😂
I'd listen to it everyday, sing-along, if it came on in the car I'd turn up the volume, I was listening to live versions, covers ever single version😂I even made a dance video with one of my friends back then- but we deleted it, because, CRINGEEEEEEEEEEEE😂😂😂😂😂
When he flies through the wall though😂😂
And I found it really funny- the video because he's just flying around everywhere😂I remember talking about with one of my friends who I used to go to school with and she said she saw her sister watching it and said:
"What are you doing? Watching a random guy flying about the place everywhere😂
2016 - We Don't Talk Anymore - Charlie Puth
Now I loved Charlie Puth after I heard one call away, and I remember being on the Ipad one summer night in 2016, and seeing this, and clicking on it (Gen Z memories lol😂) and it just instantly becoming my favourite song😂
And thinking somehow in a few years, I'd have a relationship like Charlie does in his songs but now- that's the last thing I want😂😂😂
2017 - Thumbs - Sabrina Carpenter
I kept it no secret that I was a HUGE fan of Sabrina Carpenter because of Girl Meets World😂
And I remember first hearing it I was like:

Get my 14-year-old cringe self tryna be deep😂😂😂
And I used to listen to this on the way home from school and twiddle my thumbs feeling like I'm the video😂😂

2018 - 2002 - Anne Marie
2018 was the year I got bluetooth headphones😂😂
And I remember the summer of 2018 seeing this like:
"2002? That's the year I was born!" and I clicked and listened solely for that reason, and I know the song was aimed at people who were kids in 2002, but it still felt like it was for me because I was born in 2002😂😂
I remember listening to this song whilst I was working, with all my coloured pens out making pretty notes, then getting up and it still being on whilst I go to make the tea and dancing in the kitchen😂😂
2019 - Senorita - Shawn and Camila
Some of you are probably facepalming like:
"Uhhhhhhh I knew it!"
But this summer was more or less the best summer of my life because it was the longest and I had no worries about nothing, and the summer nights sat with my window open, either talking to my best friend, talking with someone on G@G or just writing- this was on in the background😂
So this will always scream "Summer 2019" to me😂
