I've been sucked into the black hole called Kpop from which there is no escape XD. I'm glad though that I listened to a ton of other music before and still do because it gives me a lot more perspective and I'm less affected by hype and obsession as some other people are. But it still has a strong pull on me. I don't know exactly why I think there's a bunch of reasons but we don't have to get into that now XD.
Last year I made a list of my top 20 songs just for myself and it was actually quite fun. Making a list kinda forces you to have a more critical look at all the songs and kinda dig in deeper and decide what you like and then you have to kinda make some tough decisions but I like sharing stuff that I like and know something about and this way I can kinda show my taste to other fans and give a shoutout to artists who I think deserve it.
This year I decided to make the list again but because I maybe know more or I've listened to more stuff it turned into a top 30 list. I also wanna make a youtube video (my first one) with my list but it's gonna be tough. I'm totally new to editing and I still have to figure out a lot of things. I don't know how long this is gonna take me but I'll just have to keep trying :) .
But I thought I'd share my list here too since there's a ton of non Kpop fans and I just like to write mytakes and share stuff even if some people are not into it, maybe someone who's never heard of it will like it :P
Sadly I couldn't post or save my mytake because of some weird issue. I tried out a bunch of stuff and I had to take out 2 videos and replace them with links with a space in them so you have to copy them and then take out the space if you're interested in listening to the songs :( Sorry for the hassle I couldn't do anything else.
If someone thinks a placing might be too low, it's not actually. I had to cut out a lot of songs that were good just to make the list. I started with about 70 songs that I thought could maybe make the list (of course I already filtered out a ton that I didn't like or I didn't think were good enough) and then I had to decide which ones would make it. It took me about 5 hours XD I like all of the songs even if you're last it doesn't mean it's not a good song ^^ Even if a song is not on the list it doesn't mean I don't like it ^^. And it's all personal anyway :)

#21 Red Velvet - Red Flavor
This was a great summer song and it kinda marked the return of Red Velvet to their own style. Before some of their releases were more like generic Kpop girl group songs instead of their own thing. So I was really glad that they went in this direction. The song is just fun and nice to listen to as well :)
#22 Henry - The Eve
This is only a demo version of a song but I thought it deserved a spot on this list. This guy is very talented and he was part of writing this song and he sings it very well. But his company decided to give the song to someone else. Even though you can't see the full song I still liked his version a lot better :P. He sings with a lot of passion and I really enjoyed it :)

This song is very nice too. This company decided to have the members of their new group do a bunch of solo projects before they even debuted as a group. This song is the best one out of all of them in my opinion. And honestly it's better than everything they've done as a group as well so it's the only song on my list but definitely worth a listen ! :)
#24 Red Velvet - Peek-A-Boo
That's right Red Velvet is on my list with 2 songs ! ^^ That's why they get the picture at the top of this list ^^. It was a teaser image for their newest album it looks really cool in my opinion :P This was their next release after Red Flavor and it only came out recently. Like I said I really like the driection they're going in :). For some fans this placing might be a little low but it's not actually, I had to cut out a lot of songs that were good just to make the list. #25 Girls' Generation - Holiday
In this spot we have the Legends and Queens Girls' Generation. They are the #2 Girl Group in sales ALL TIME !!! only The Supremes are still ahead of them with 100 Million but maybe they will catch them as well. Their impact and Legacy is just amazing and mindblowing. It can't be overstated. My second favorite Kpop group after 2NE1 I like them very much :P Even though I liked this song, it wasn't creative enough or didn't blow me away as that I could put it near the top but they did release another song that is higher up on the list :)
#26 AOA - Bing Bing
It's been a tough year for AOA they had some "scandals" and then one of their most important members decided to leave so the group is in trouble at the moment but I liked this song quite a lot and the ladies are looking fine as always ! :)
#27 Jimin - Hallelujah
This is a solo by a member of the group AOA that's just above ^^ She gets hate by some people but I've always enjoyed her solo songs I think she's quite talented even though people say bad stuff about her personality and stuff. Sadly I think she just had some completely unnecessary plastic surgery. I don't know the pressure just gets to some people in this business. Even if they look great they cave to the pressure sometimes. It sucks but it's their decision and their life in the end. I like this song though she has quite a large range as an artist. She's done quite a few different projects solo or in a colaboration and every one is quite different. But I've enjoyed all of them :)
#28 Hyolyn ft. Changmo - Blue Moon
This song is pretty nice and I like the rapper too. It also ended up ower than I expected it would but still made the list ^^ The vocals are very nice with this instrumental.

My favorite girl in Kpop. She's so cute and her voice is beautiful too <3 She's also part of the group Girls' Generation but she doesn't really get that much attention or any solo songs :( So this is something to appreciate. I actually do like the song as well. It's very nice and sweet ^^
#30 iKon - Bling Bling

The instrumental is just sick and I like the song quite a lot. The only thing I didn't like that much was the ending. It's too familiar since YG Entertainment has done this a bunch of times with other songs. They turn it into a jump! jump! jump! Kinda thing at the end. In general I have nothing against that but they did it a lot with BIGBANG another group and I thought first of all it was repetitive and not creative and it didn't really fit the song that well either. I would have liked if they went in a different direction.
That said it was still lit and even if people hate it they're probably listening to it at home jamming to it XD
Anyway this is only #30-#21 so don't completely judge my list yet but I'd still like to read your comments of course ! Let me know if you liked something or also if you hated something ^^
