Looking forward to have a good time with my family

Going reluctantly due to family pressure

Im not going, no obligation there I’ll see my family another time

This year I will be cooking a ham and depending on weather I may make potato soup. This week it has been 80 degrees for highs so if it doesn’t get cold then no soup…. Each family member can bring at least one big that is enough for everyone and that way we have plenty.

Nooo com’on, I think these feelings are natural, there’s just a strong connection between family and Christmas time I think and not everything is easy we can feel a heavy burden

Yes, that is part of it. Before my parents got divorced Christmas was always fun. After wards it became an ordeal and even though both are no longer here I still remember how awful it was.
