Would you delete a guy’s number if he told you he is only interested in sex?

I went on some dates with a guy and he said that he usually never sees girls again he hooks up with. Like he said he didn’t want to hurt my feelings and that his past relationships had formed in natural settings as opposed to how we had met. Then he said these thoughts had just occurred to him and that he might feel differently in a few weeks time. Like apparently he’s unstable and didn’t want to say any concluding thoughts. It has been a few weeks and we haven’t really spoken after that. I thought maybe he must be testing waters with other girls he’s probably seeing. Do I delete his number or wait till new years?
