Question

At my job, there are many boys looking at me and showing interest. But they don’t make first move, they come near you on purpose various times , various days, hoping you talk to them first.
I did that with my crush as he shwoed interest in me so I talked to him first & I began show more interest , but since I didn’t give my numebr fast , we got seperated and we work different schedules so since Christmas i haven’t seen him & lost contact. But he is shy and would never ask for my number unless I do it.

my mom says if I give my number a guy will use me for sex and not be my boyfriend. Lol.

if I stay home do nothing then I will never have a boyfriend. With a number you can text, plan meet and be couple. Obviously if the guy don’t like you he will not text you at all.
it’s just silly what my mom says. But for me I never had a guy give me his number.

I just had one boyfriend but I never pursued him first, he pursued me first and talked first but we never did anything serious like meet family so I broke up with him.

There is no standard on how a guy will treat your mobile number. Just share it with the ones who make your heart soar and you feel you would be sad if you missed out.

That said, in the group of guys I know as friends none of them are just using a girls number for sex calls and nothing else.

Mobiles are double edged swords though, on the one hand they allow us you to keep in touch with people we would not otherwise but that itself can become a problem as the mobile can easily become the primary way of keeping in touch (and yes, they might only call when they are looking to hook up, especially if they live far away).

No need for a number. But just like someone said: Let him have it.

As in at some point, mention sharing something, and have some sort of communication means ready in case he got confused.

I personally prefer messaging apps that don't use phone numbers. Take (Zangi messanger) as an example. Also Telegram can be an option. Add by username, and don't show phone numbers.

You can talk.. plan.. etc.

Not always. Some guys, like me, are more interested in pleasing the woman orally, and I even tell her when we meet that if she wants to just keep me sexually frustrated, she'll probably be very pleased with my other skills.

It depends greatly on the guy. If you gave it to me, I certainly wouldn't think it was sexual reasons. I'd MUCH rather keep you as a friend than to have you over to fuck me and then never talk to me, again!!
