This year it's just another month for me unfortunately. Normally it feels like Christmas but this year it really doesn't. And that's sad cause Christmas is normally my favorite time of the year.
I know it's holiday season but I'm not into like I use to be when I was younger. The novelty of it wears off after a few years and you get become use to it. Like it's the same every year, same movies, same Christmas songs, same craze about getting everyone a gift without getting something boring cause you have no idea what they really like or want. I'm just over the repetitiveness of it all, everytime I hear about the grinch or Mariah careys Christmas song, I just want to cut the TV and radio off.. like we know already, give us something different! But that's where in at now, it's probably cause I'm older now, when you're a kid it's the best time of the year lol 😆 I think the only holiday I don't get sick of is Thanksgiving cause hello food! 😅

I'm sorry to hear that. That sucks. I'm glad you asked this question today. It didn't until now. I just got home from a trip and the last two weeks have been all work so it hasn't felt like Christmas until now. But today started to as we've hammered out plans, and menus, and I was putting together gifts for our friends.

I only have one Christmas celebration with my dad's friends in other countries and his other friends busy with their kids new families. My parents have friends but they don't invite the kids, it's purely an elderly or senior event.

It kinda feels... well like Christmas. Christmas is the only time I hear Christmas songs, Christmas things and all the like. If I didn't see, smell or hear those things, then I think it's just March again. :c March don't mean shi but a green month.
