Week 1: Purple Advent Candle, Hope

There is nice symbolism in what you described here.

Anyhow - in my own culture the advent wreath usually has 4 candles that commonly are of the same colour.

This year is the first in a while since I managed to have one again... living in a Buddhist country one just gets distracted too often.

So - I did much enjoy to light the first candle last Sunday.
