Do you have an advent tradition where you give small presents during the Christmas season?

In Spain, we have a calendario de adviento, normally in the shape of a house, where presents are left in a little drawer for every day between December 1 and 24. It can be anything, as long as it fits: sweets, little pieces of jewelry, small toys.

Here's what it looks like. In some cases, the drawer with the number 24 is bigger. You can only open the drawer on the morning of the day numbered.

Maybe it's more common than I think. Do you have something like this in your country?

I give presents to @Abbycado year round. Usually it's the gift of a chair to sit on. It even has a name and a big ole smiley face on it.
