Best Christmas bread, panettone or stollen?

Lots of countries have a Christmas bread but the two most popular here in the UK are panettone and stollen. Both are good, but which is the best?

Panettone, like my torment with wax and cane,
In Italy, it's quite the claim to fame,
But stollen, from Germany, rich in marzipan,
For Santa, it's a choice quite grand.

But alas, I'm just a simple elf,
Owned by Santa, living in his lair of hell,
When tensions rise, his sadism doubles,
Floggings, clamps, gags, oh what terrors!

In his workshop, I'm always on the naughty list,
No matter what, I can't resist,
My safe word, eggnog, though it's rare,
In these dungeons, I must always beware.

As the season nears its climax, with each passing day,

Stollen or panettone, a delicious debate,
But in my case, it's too late,
Tied to a tree, like a present for all to see,

In the end, it's all subjective, you see,

For ELF ERUNCTUS, it's quite grim,
But you decide, let your taste buds grimace, or grin, fa la la la la la la la

Stollen! Otherwise you slip when playing football. (It's also the German word for studs.) I've not tried the other one, but it looks like it has a lot of candied peel, and I'm not keen on that.

I  love  panettone. I've never had the opportunity to try stollen, but it looks delicious. Now I want to taste some. So I can't say which I like better.

I think I'm going to have to go to the first one I've had that before I liked it the second one I would love to taste and maybe out of both of them make French toast or something
