When do you take down your Christmas tree 🎄?

Usually 2 weeks post New Year. I'm so tapped out on the energy scale from having to cook, clean, and entertain friends and family non-stop back to back from Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years, that the first weeks of new year are about rest and recuperation, and then I launch into a good deep clean and take down of the decor, tree, and everything else Christmas.
Before it catches on fire
Lol I own a plastic one - rarely ever real lol
I don't take down my Christmas tree. I phase it out.
Dec 10-31 - it's a Christmas tree
Dec 31-Jan 10 - ornaments come off and it becomes just "a tree"
Jan 10 - Jan 25 - goes on back porch next to the stack of firewood and becomes decorative kindling
when it starts looking at me funny... ¬¬

I usually take it down the weekend after New Years but this year we took down 90% of the decorations the day after Christmas. It felt like it was just time to do it.
After new years usually
The best time to take your Christmas tree down is determined by tradition or personal preference. Many adhere to the Christian tradition of removing it on January 5th or 6th (Twelfth Night or Epiphany). Others favor early January for practical reasons. Artificial trees can be removed at any time, whereas live trees should be removed before they dry.
Hubby & I won't be around to do it.
Under the watchful eyes of my mom, my staff will take down our Christmas trees and most of the Christmas decorations this weekend.
pretty much as soon as one of the guys in our family or friends is available to help lol
our tree is heavy as shit and it goes in the attic
As a rule of thumb, I’ll take my tree and decorations down in between Christmas and new year, as I do put mine up in early November.
It is down and put away…. But I am collecting real Christmas trees for a New Year’s Eve bon fire…. One year we collected over one hundred trees and had a huge fire. So far we have about sixty this year.
When I was a kid we would leave it up until all the pine needles start falling off, so like the end of January
I just leave it up. It's made out of plastic so why bother putting it away and having to take it out again next year. This way it's all ready to go.
I only have New Year's tree, and it will be here for awhile.
