When do you take down your Christmas tree?

I didn't bother to put one up this year.  I stayed home and watched Netflix by myself.  Holliday's are depressing and lonely, glad it's over.

I took all the ornaments and everything off and put those away but my tree still smell so good so I think I want to keep it up a little bit longer

I don't have a Christmas tree this year. When I do have a tree, I usually take it down on New Year's Day.

Usually in February. My mom had dementia and the year before, my dad was taking up a lot of my time - he was at an assisted living place. So I was doing a lot for both of them.

We have a fake tree mostly because of allergies. The tree is difficult to take apart, especially for a little guy like me, and the last year, mom would flip out if I tried anything with it, so the last two years, we’ve left it up.

I will probably have someone help me take it down this year, but this will be tough taking it down this time.

I sorta want to end myself. I'll never ever ever do it. But tonight I just want to go to sleep an never wake up. Or sleep for like 6 months. Wake up when it's summer, it's bright outside, morning, birds singing. A new world, a million miles away. I could start again. Oh how I wish...

12th Night,  as in Yuletide, 12 days Christmas etc. January 5 signifies the end of Christmas and the Eve of the Epiphany (Jan 6).

We took ours down on the 26th. It was the last tree for sale and it dried out really early and ornaments kept falling off of it and it kept leaning after trying to straighten it out multiple times. Normally we take it down the first week of January.
