My boyfriend and I are celebrating Valentine’s Day this month, since our work schedules with keep us apart for most of February. I wanted to get him a present, but I’m not sure of what to get him. Any ideas?
This is some of the stuff he likes: 80’s music and movies, he collects paintings from the Southwestern US and also Texas landscape, he likes to collect antiques, and also works with his hands and works outdoors in the extreme cold.
I also thought of maybe making him something sentimental like a photo gift or something, but I am just not sure what to do. Should I do something sentimental that represents us or get him something that he likes, or something practical he could use for work? What kind of gifts do guys like to receive?
Thanks in advance for any help.

What Guys Said
Sex, dinner n something to do w one of his hobbies. Not necessarily in that order. Were simple. We don’t get that same gooey feeling women get from Valentine’s Day. Most men just see it as another day. For a lot of women it means a lot. I’d say forget making him something sentimental. Again things like that don’t hit men the way they do w women. Some dudes might, but to a majority of us it’s just another day. Well a day geared toward women playing on their emotions to get men to spend money. If you don’t you’re an asshole, dump him he’s so insensitive, etc, etc, etc. According to a lot of women.
