We got everything for our kids and a few others before Thanksgiving. My wife and I do not buy presents for each other anymore. We buy some big item for the house, something we both can use. We have not even discussed it yet.

My family stopped buying gifts for each other a few years ago. We don't need anything and if we want something, we buy it when we want it. We just have a nice dinner together and then games and drink until 3-4 am.

I started Christmas shopping during the summer and everything I bought was for my son - all new clothes.
Next month he will get a new computer 🖥️ and desk and all of the trimmings 🙂

My siblings and I have agreed to not exchange gifts this year. I think I might buy a gift for one friend though but I have not thought much about it yet. I just got back from an 8 day trip last night and I am busy catching up.
