I reckon there must be tons of old trees in lofts that come down once a year so how old is your tree?

Adjusted for inflation and USD it is $3 today’s money. He got his money’s worth. Our tree is about 3 or 4 years old but this is the first year it is up. We are away from just prior to Thanksgiving in late November to just after Christmas so we haven’t been putting it up. This year I put it up just to enjoy it early and for when I get home.
We used to get a live tree each year. 12 feet to 13 feet was the standard range, nothing less than 10 feet but that one was quite wide as well. We sold that home and moved into our vacation home which doesn’t have the high ceiling of our old sunroom. When I was growing up we started out with live trees then my parents switched to a fake one which lasted about 15 years.
I eventually lost it, but i had been using the same tiny desktop Christmas tree for fifteen years. It was only 6” tall, tops. So i didn’t even need an attic. It went into a drawer for most of the year and came out for December only.
We had always fresh spruce, however my grand ma has still a Swedish artificial tree from 1950. It's still looks good and plastic it's made of doesn't decay. I'm sure Chinese Christmas trees made of molten plastic trash from around the world won't last even a decade. When plastinator evaporates, plastic these trees are made of turns into dust.
Thays amazing. 6p lol. I'd not like a tree for that long tho I can understand it's sentimental value.
My tree is maybe ten years old. I get bored of it. I've suggested doing a swap wuth friends or family to mix it up sone years.

I bought a new one last month. The old one was a huge tree that was getting beat up looking. It was over 20 years old I think. It went to the dump.
I moved into a new home in August and I have cathedral ceilings, so I bought a nine foot tree and new ornaments in November.
well damn... that tree was already there way before Christmas lights, lol...
modern ones, that is...
We bought our artificial tree 4 years ago
Ours is 4 years old - a real tree, so it won't come inside after this year as it's getting too heavy to move.
Had a real tree as a kid we planted in the garden. Assuming it's still alive it'll be 50 years old now.
Over a decade. For a while we got a real tree every year, mostly because my dad likes the smell. I convinced them to get a fake tree, because they're overall cheaper and he could just light candles for the scent (which he does).
This is the eighth Christmas with the ultimate lazy person's tree. Pull it out, assemble the three sections, plug the cords together then into the wall, and done.
I have only an artificial New Years tree, I think it's about eight years old.
It was 6d, sorry, not 6 six new pence, aka as a tanner,,,
My tree is only 3 years old but this is only the second year using it since I didn't decorate last year. Hopefully it is the last tree I ever buy. I spent a lot of money on it, it's a balsam hill tree.
Wow, 1931? That’s insane. My tree’s “vintage” too… maybe like 5 years old, but nothing compared to that legend.
I don't have one up but the one we normally have up is over 12 years old.
I'm not sure, maybe close to 70, maybe beyond 70, but I doubt it.
Mine is a new fresh real one every year.
Bought it last year.
A couple 2 3 years old.
I never had a Christmas tree 🌲
My Tree is four weeks old, all the way from Canada
