I am really fucking over Merry and Happy. Especially Happy because that is used for everything other than Christmas.
So for Christmas it is Good Feasting which is actually what it is about and acknowledges the paganism of it.. For New Year I've resurrected a very old and ancient one of Healthy Wealthy and Wise. I might have pinched that from Benjamin Franklin - not sure.
Next one up for me is Australia Day and it is not going to be bloody Happy. Nope I will wish Sunny Australia Day which is what we all want. Rain puts the barbie out.
Still thinking about Easter at this point; I'm taking suggestions folks.
My New Year resolution is not to let Happy pass my lips ever again because, as I said, I'm fucking over it big time.
That depends on who it is. If I know they're Christian, I'll say Merry Christmas. If I don't know that, I'll say Happy Holidays, wherever I happen to be in the world.
Nadolig llawen is the standard
Nadolig obviously from latin Natale
Llawen means happy/merry/joyous that kind of thing. Usually refers to an event rather than a mood.
I say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays for non-Christian friends

Either a Christmas story (esp kids and family members) or a basic Christmas wish (text/DM).
Not much story telling this year, though, as I was sick as a dog.
You didn't include any of the PC options, but you know I'm not a PC person!
Feliz Christmas... and Happy Navidad
I say Merry Christmas.
I always say Merry Kiss MY Ass.
A lot of people get offended at "Merry Christmas" so I insteaed say, "May the birth of the one and only true God, Jesus Christ, bestow a blessing of grace and peace upon your household, to the belittlement of every false religion."
Feliz navidad in Mexico even though feliz means happy, navidad is Christmas almost makes no sense. Now Santa Claus makes some sense. We say santa clos.
Happy Holidays is the best option if they are a personal friend and you don’t know if they celebrate Christmas.
Nothing. I don't celebrate and most people in my life don't either
I say Merry Christmas. Sure it is a religious holiday but it is more importantly a time of hopefully peace and good cheer
Merry Christmas or joyeux noel or yenaad aalaykom "ينعاد عليكم"
BAAAH, HUMBUG!! PISS-OFF, EAT SHIT AND DIE!!

I always say Merry Christmas.
