Christmas is almost over!! Do you still have your decorations and tree up?

Traditionally the season (Christmastide) lasts 12 days, from Christmas Day (Dec 25) to Twelfth Night (Jan 5), ending with the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6th, when the Three Wise Men arrived.

So taking your tree down before this and you look like a fool.

The thing is, LOADS of people take it down at the stroke of midnight on the 25th!! Mostly because they put it up as much as a few days before Halloween!! They ARE fools!!

If we don't take everything down this weekend, we'll do it on NYE or NYD.

I don't take anything down `til at least the 2nd weekend in Jan.. But then, I also don't put anything up until the 2nd weekend of Dec.! There's no point to putting it up any earlier. You get sick of it before Christmas even gets here!!

We just managed to get our stuff up I think on the 17th after talking about it for 2 1/2 weeks and procrastinating

I will start taking them down next week. I got new spotlights for my house that will come apart very easily and we got a new tree that is a lot smaller than the previous one.
