Who still has Christmas decorations up?

I was driving around last Friday night and noticed that many people have not taken down their Christmas lights. If they re still up is it laziness or did you intend to, leave them up?

I give it one week after Christmas, and then it’s a wrap. Holy smokes, my neighbor’s house was looking like you could land a plane there until last weekend…. and he still has year-round INTERIOR Christmas lights around the top of his living room walls that you see every time you drive past at night. Decorates like I decorated my college dorm room except he’s like 70😂 Also still has a black lawn jockey, which is just a TERRIBLE look for our entire neighborhood🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I has a rich guy that owned the local Ford dealership that lived on my street in a great big house. He had several of those lawn jockeys. He even had a white one. I have not seen one of those in years. I doubt you can buy them in the local stores.
I just looked on A, mazon and this is the only one you can buy

There’s a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm out right now, and they JUST had the most recent episode revolving around how they stayed at an air B n’ B in Georgia. They were shocked and appalled to see a black lawn jockey at the house, and then they accidentally broke it, and they were just like “oh well…. good.” But his managers wife is a HUGE bitch and demanded they replace it. So they go on this wild goose chase, he has to awkwardly ask a black salesman at a store for one, and then they end up having to go into the REAL backwoods to get one. And on the way home he has to stop a BBQ with some black folks his acquainted with, and they go to put some food in his back seat, and, well…..😂😂😂

you know what i hate. when people leave up their Christmas tree and just decorate it for valentines day just so they can keep it up longer... we're half way to March. take it down!

Funny because ours was still up (the Christmas lights were taken down and so were the decorations around after the Three Kings happend around Jan 6th through the 10th, but it was because there was construction going on in our house (a few or our floor pipes in our old house needed to be replaced) and so our furniture was disorganized (the dinning table and chairs were in the living room and our foyer console table, vases and decorative sculptures/figurines were also in the living room and family room). It was just our naked tree (lol), but our lights outside were long gone fast after New Years.

I've had `em up for 3 years, so far. The first year was because of sentimental reasons. Before the next Christmas came, I was forced into a situation, thanks to my fucking neighbors, where I COULDN'T take them down and now, because of my fucking ex-cousins, I can't take them down, either! I have NO CLUE how long this legal bullshit with them is gonna last so, for all I know, I'm keeping them up all this year, too!!

There are lights that stay up all year long. You can change the colors for different holidays or sports. The houses in the picture definitely have Christmas lights. Maybe it's too cold for them to take them down

Our decorations and lights are down, but I also have noticed people with their lights still up and on. I think because the weather has been so cold people don't want to be out there taking them down.
