Okay- Who has not taken down their Christmas decorations yet?

Christmas was almost a month ago and even GaG has taken down the Holiday topic.

This is why I have LED lights that I put up while its warm before Halloween, they are Bluetooth and can be programmed to a Halloween theme, then a Thanksgiving theme, then a Christmas Theme, and new years, even Valentines, St Patrick's day and July 4th too.

I usually take them down sometime in about a month or so, before I head out to the digital nomad life.

I also have a Charlie Brown tree that stays up year round in my at home office.

I didn't put up a big tree this year due to health issues.

Put me down as everything is down. It is almost family tradition.

We decorate for four holidays and have a regular schedule. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter Sunday.

The Thanksgiving decorations go up the Sunday before the holiday and come down the Friday after. The Easter decorations go up the Saturday before the holiday and come down the Sunday after Easter. The Halloween decorations are the most variable, depending on when the holiday falls, but typically they go up the Saturday before and come down the day after.

For Christmas, as my mother's birthday was the 16th, we did not put up decorations until the first day of winter and take them down until the day after Epiphany - which as we are Catholic falls the Sunday after New Years' Day. (Unless New Year's Day is a Sunday, in which case it is the Sunday after New Year's Day.)

That was the family tradition and I have stuck with that since with my own family. Suffice to say, as we are past Epiphany, the decorations are down now.

Grinchy as it sounds, I am sort of glad too. First, Easter Sunday is my favorite holiday and I like those decorations the best. Secondly, because since in most of the world Christmas begins the day after the day after Christmas and ends the day after Christmas, I have to admit that even by the time we put our Christmas decorations up, I have grown a bit tired of them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Christmas - especially with kids of my own. However, we cherish the things that don't last and since Christmas never seems to stop - especially in the stores - after a while it gets a bit long in the tooth.

Anyhow, as I say, the decorations down and I can't wait for winter to be over and spring to start. The sunshine and warm weather can't come soon enough.

I don't have any. I had a dream once about a Caribbean resort called "No Christmas Island" where you could go in December and Christmas was never mentioned.

Ours are still up. Christmas lasts until February 2nd in the Church. Which means that my Die Hard is a Christmas movie shenanigans can also last until at least then.
