There are many big public events that generate tons of trash. This trash has to be cleaned up and somehow disposed of. I would charge everyone there with littering.

In NYC, cleanup is done by the Sanitation Department.
Several years ago, my wife and I were in Times Square for the ball drop, along with thousands of others, and we stayed in a hotel overlooking Times Square. Immediately after midnight, a group of workers started disassembling the metal pens that are used to maintain order. Around 1am, after all the pens had been taken away, a fleet of vacuum equipped garbage trucks drove onto Broadway. By 8am, everything was cleaned up, as spotless as a street can be.
Thanks for MHO
In NYC sanitation dept has times square completely clean in a few hours. Like it never happened.

In New York Shitty, nobody. Those dipshits are accustomed to living in filth.
Who cleans it up? Not me!
WALL·E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class)
Department of Public Works and New York Port Authority but under Mamdani it will still be there on the ground next New Year's.
They probably hire some kind of cleaning service.
Like Merry Maids,?
Something like that.
The Mexican immigrants? 🤔
That’s wildly offensive.
Depending on the city, the workforce is 25-75% Latinos. You want to offer different numbers?
The amount of them isn’t what makes it offensive.
Most Mexicans (Latinos) can't get into these union jobs with the big union guys. (They are still strong and tight) to share double overtime’s… so no, no Mexicans/Latinos yet.
I have relative from the Caribbeans… finally got a job working for the MTA (metropolitan transportation authority). He is set with a good government job with overtime and pensions. He got lucky.
I'm Mexican... and approve this joke
can't say I didn't think of it myself... since I actually know people who work over there, lmfao... and especially during the cold harsh winters too
it's not offensive it's just a funny twist of the actual reality
I didn't throw it so no way I'm cleaning up.
I used to hate cleaning that shit up at the bar
All the people you deported used to, but now, it's the city's responsibility in most cases so sanitation workers do it most of the time, unless there's a specific contract for an outside party. Either way, YOU pay for it.
All the druggies in NYC use it for rolling paper.
Roombas. Giant Roombas.
😂😂😂
That’s hilarious and more than a little prophetic.
The people who we pay the city too much tax to take care of it.
The county workers
I'm sure NYC public works does the cleanup
Unfortunate people!
