I am thinking of getting a job at Walmart. Do those who have experience working at Walmart recommend it?

Did you have a good high school experience?

Actually yes I did. Although I wish I would have joined some clubs while I was in high school. In any case I made lots of friends, studied hard and got good grades, and it prepared me for college. Education & Career

Is a it a bad sign if an interviewer spends the majority of the interview time talking about the company and the role I would be working?

I don't think that is too unusual. He might be explaining to you the role you would have with the company, so you can determine if it is a good fit for you. Education & Career

People who love what they do don’t sleep much?

It might more be a matter of a person being more "high energy". I think people who are very energetic tend to of course, not sleep as much, and get involved with things that they are passionate... Education & Career

What do you consider the most "feminine" industry?

Of those listed, I would day design, as in fashion design and interior design. Not so much graphic design. Some of the healthcare jobs are "feminine" but not so much. Education & Career

Why do so many apparently believe homeschooling to be superior to the well-balanced, well-funded, and proper public schooling system?

I am glad that I was not homeschooled, mainly because of all the friends I made in classrooms and the socialization that it provided. There were bad things that happened, however there are bad... Education & Career

How did you manage your time in College/University?

I definitely used a planner, and had upcoming things written in it. Also, I knew which nights of the week that I had to study, and which evenings I could lighten up and socialize with friends. Education & Career

I was passionate about my former type of work in the medical industry. I would not say that I loved the job, but I was passionate about it. There were rough days and at times it was high stress.... Education & Career

I was accepted to a university but I don't want to go. What is your advice?

Maybe talk them in to letting you go to a community college first? It might be a good way for you to get your feet wet in college and it would save money for your parents. Education & Career
