it clearly states in the articles of said contract you agreed to the terms till death do us part! I hate everyone that got married before I did and everyone that got married after, for the ones before didn’t warn me, and the ones after didn’t listen.
Nice take and spot on... I would've added the no-fault divorce stuff or a little on how you as the man will have to pay for her legal representation to divorce rape yourself.
A lot of men can't cook, clean, or maintain houses by themselves but are good at earning money, generally, they get those done by women and focus on earning money. Most conservative relations are like that, so many of my friends married their girlfriends to get that hospitality and love, so it's beneficial for them. However, if you are a guy who can manage both then finding reasons for marriage will be difficult for you.
I just don't get marriage. I don't see the benefits. Just invented by the church to make extra cash. But then there the females that "dream" if it since they were kids. Men don't even think about it.
Who the hell suggests marriage primarily benefits men? HAHAHAHA!!! What a load of crap!

Marriage isn't for the benefit of men OR for the benefit of women. The ENTIRE point of marriage is to create the best possible environment for children. The the absence of kids, there's no reason to get married.
Marriage can work for men, if they're very picky when choosing a wife and only marry someone who is truly committed, not looking for a nice big divorce pay out.
Marriage is not in favor of men in a systematic or institutional way and the idea that marriage benefits men are not supported by the evidence.
Marriage can benefit both men and women in different ways. For example, research has shown that married individuals tend to have better health, higher levels of happiness and satisfaction, and a greater sense of security and stability than single individuals.
However, there are also challenges and disadvantages that come with marriage, and these can impact both men and women in different ways. For example, marriage can lead to a loss of independence, increased financial responsibility, and a greater workload when it comes to household chores and child-rearing.
I am not against marriage, but there are certain difficulties and negative impacts that men may experience due to being married, which is what I am trying to bring attention to.
Married men earn more because they have the ball and chain around their neck along with kids. That's out of necessity. Unmarried men don't need to earn that much to stay afloat. Ask those married men how much of that money they get to actually keep.
And there is the kicker right there: divorced men. In fact, that marriage stastic only applies to happily married men. If you're not happy you're actually more likely to die than single men: www.njlanelaw.com/.../ Most marriages end in divorce. 80% are filed by women.
Doesn't sound like a good deal to me. I have to hope everything goes well and maybe I can be happy... but I don't get to keep my money. Or if it fails (and it's stastically probable) my life gets nuked.
"Married men are less likely to commit suicide than divorced men." by the same logic, Married women are less likely to be killed by their angry ex husbands than divorced women. Yes, if all goes well, no need to do bad things. But if divorce enters the game, you better hope i am in a good mood.
@ crazycagurlz about your comment: "Not sure if that's true. The #1 cause of death for pregnant women is being murdered by their partner. " I do not like or support this and hope it improves. not quite sure how it is related to what i said before but this is still a bad thing.
Don't! It is an extreme thing. Also if you are young, there is no real reason to do it. While I said it happens in a divorce it does not mean it is a good thing or that i encourage it.

The question is about marriage NOT divorce. Anything u said about divorce is irrelevant to the argument
woman, this is like the 5th time i am seeing this argument and calling it "Bullshit".
@7barbieringz Like for real... I'm calling bullshit as well.

Marriage is not about being divorced, I see the point but there is more to marriage than that.
I just don't get marriage. I don't see the benefits. Just invented by the church to make extra cash. But then there the females that "dream" if it since they were kids. Men don't even think about it.

Marriage is unfair on both genders, women have it worse if we're talking patriarchal society.
Ridiculous. Marriage is for women. Men can sometimes adapt and work with it but it's made for women.
Depending on the region you live. In the western civilization, not anymore. In non western civilization, it is.
name a single benefit that a man gets from marriage that he doesn't have without marriage?
Favor in the legal since is debatable, but desired in life, yes.

There are no benefits for men in marriage only liabilities.
There are no benefits to men for marriage. Only simps marry.
Marriage is only for women. They keep pushing for it.
Married men earn more. Married men live longer. Married men are less likely to commit suicide than divorced men. What more do you want?

Women live more on average

@annnnunn
I am always single but can't commit suicide. Because It is going to hurt.
@annnnunn Not sure if that's true. The #1 cause of death for pregnant women is being murdered by their partner.

my last comment is a reply to @Vivaldi I cannot edit it, so i add this.
What however does it benefit us besides the nagging
Whereas divorce definitely favours women
Yes it favors men as a predatory.
