I didn't think it had gotten to the point where a bride wants the world to know at her wedding (1st, 2nd or 3rd) that she's trash, a slut or whore. I agree it's her day but I doubt this is what she wants everyone to think of her. I mean like people can pretty much tell the type of person we are by how we dress. Since the wedding day is the day in her life where a woman will generally want to look as gorgeous, stunning and beautiful as she possibly can, and maybe on the innocent side too because that's what it would take for her to look like elegant like that. I doubt she can dress like this and feel good about herself or her husband either. Let's face it, a bride isn't dressing for an Emmy Award, Globe or Oscar, etc. award. She doesn't have to prove or substantiate on her wedding day by the way she dresses how many times she's been in bed before. But I do agree, that it's her and her husband's day, so if they're both 100% for her dressing like in your picture then they would go for it. But I'll say that unless they have a very small wedding, 90% of the people attending won't think she's dressed properly and more than likely some of the parents will be red faced or have thoughts running through their minds when they look at the children they brought along.
I think that's a little much for a wedding and most importantly, why would a bride to be want her father to see her in something so low cut? Not to mention, what if there are children there and something slips out of the dress, no one thinks that would be inappropriate? I mean, I get people want to be liberated and everything but isn't there a more tactful way to do so without being dressed so provocatively? I don't judge what people do because I know what it's like and it sucks horribly, so there's no judgement here. I just don't think it's the greatest of ideas but it's not my wedding, so whatever.

The white wedding dress started with queen Victoria just because she wanted a white dress. This became a fashion trend but over time, the color was associated with purity, innocence and virginity- therefore all virgins were supposed to wear pure white on their wedding day.
Nowadays, only 3% of people who marry in the US are virgins. Basically throwing the tradition in the trash. The average American has sexual relations with anywhere from 3-12 people (depending on ones personal lifestyle) before marriage.
Honestly, I don't know why they even wear white. A lot of them are over here giving themselves away to any man who buys them dinner, then get married in practically nothing so the entire congregation can see her fake tits and she can show everyone just how easy she is.

I think it's a matter of personal taste as to what is sexier or less traditional :) Some will think anything showing arms is not traditional enough.

People can do what they want. I personally think it’s tacky but I don’t really like extreme cleavage like that anyway. I never really understood marriage, mostly because our generation was the one of divorce and my parents who were never married seem like one of the only parents around me who hadn’t separated. I guess it’s a callback to traditionalism, which isn’t a bad thing. Rewriting those rules to suit a never order isn’t bad either, it’s part of human culture, it shows our development. if I was ever get married it wouldn’t be traditional either, I’d probably wear a light or dusty pink with a hippy inspired style.
Well its a couple's day so really its up to them what they wear. But, i my personal opinion I think they look a bit tacky and too much. I think your wedding day is the one time you're really going to feel beautiful and elegant and I think dresses like that are stunning. Also, details like lace add a subtle sexiness without being in your face. I get that the wedding dress doesn't have to be about virginity (although the white wedding dress actually gained its popularity through Queen Victoria when she wore it, and has since been labelled as a mark of purity) but a wedding is also a family occasion. I wouldn't want to be walking down the aisle at my wedding with my boobs popping out for all my family to see, but each to their own. I feel like you can choose sexier outfits any other day of your life so for me, I would like the more traditional.
The only person who's opinion matters on the wedding dress is the bride. If she wants to wear a sexy or revealing dress then she should go ahead. If that makes her feel confident and beautiful that's what she should do. I hate mermaid gowns with a passion because I think they make people's hips look huge but if a bride feels beautiful in that it's none of my business. And let's be real here the sexual experience of brides hasn't gone up there is just more of them willing to admit it now. People need to stop trying to innocent up the past. I don't think many people still believe in the illusion that the bride (or groom for that matter) is virgin. Only when religion is involved would the be assumed to be the case.
But just because the bride isn't a virgin, doesn't mean she should have a more sexy/revealing dress to signify that. Marriage is about two people deciding they want to be together. They are so sure about it, they invite their families and friends to celebrate their love. Yes, sex is of course a big part of a relationship, but that's not what marriage is about.
In other words, I see no reason to draw attention to the sexiness of the bride (or groom). If the bride herself wants to do so, I'm fine with that; but a dress like in the picture is pushing it quite far in my opinion.
The problem is that weddings are for families and technically in the sight of God. I guess it depends on the guests attending and how spiritually involved the service is. But modest and borderline modest should be the aim for a wedding. Sure guys would love to see a sexier version of their bride but the wedding is not for you or him. Its for your family. If it was for you and him you would do it in a court house or go to Vegas. I know it is both of your girl and guys wedding but really it's so the family can see it happen. That's just my take on it anyway.
Since marriage’s roots were fairly tribal to begin with and only occasionally tied to the local religion, I’ve always seen the traditional white dress wedding as an Anglo Saxon Christian thing. Seeing as most of today’s American weddings take thier roots from that but don’t necessarily follow all the traditions I expected things to change in this direction. Pretty much mirroring all other clothing trends in the West. I’m just waiting for the days we transition to dynamic fabrics and people get over this whole “full nudity is bad” thing.
The super low cut or skimpy dress is not my thing. A lot of that, I'd see it as I'm one of the few (if she's slept with others) who is supposed to be seeing that.
I'd go for women who leave a little to the imagination - not just here, but in general, too. They don't have to dress in swimsuits from the 1910's, or like nuns, or everything bulky, but... I'd think most of the women I'd want to be married to would want to keep a little for the wedding NIGHT.

We all know what traditional means. The church is not traditional. I am not a Christians of any Christianity. The bible is an eternal book but churches are organizations what has nothing to do with god and are corrupt as the government is and every man and every business. So I think it does not matter. But if a man loves a woman they have to create their own island. He must be able to have his own property because the rest is already stolen. If a man loves a woman the land and country will no longer support him in no way and he will have no job etc.. He will be hated and bullied by all people. So he has the most complicated times ever existing in this world. But there are still in the oceans a few islands left of course. And with God, there is always a way. Altho only if you are pure at heart.

i think this is something very positive that women are getting more confidant with their bodies and they are ok to tell what they have and it is also confidence boosting for the groom to be and i am sure any man will be more than happy to see his bride comfortable, happy and confidant with her body so there's nothing wrong with it
I think its tacky and disrespectful especially if your getting married in a church. Your presenting yourself in front of your friends and family and your partners as well. Marriage is about giving your whole self to someone you love and that body should be only for your partner to see and no one else.

If I were to get married and go through the traditional ceremony, then I'd prefer a bit less cleavage since it's not even common to show that much in your everyday life. I agree with the idea of it though, it's dumb to pretend they're innocent virgins, but most people don't they know the bride and groom have been with each other. Oh no, there's nothing wrong with dressing like a whole for your wedding if that's what you want to do. You should stop caring what other people think, whether or not they're enjoying the wedding because it's a beautiful day to celebrate the partnership between you and your husband or because you have your tits out.
