Most women nag a lot, but that doesn't mean men don't nag, or get moody!

I go for happy marriage happy life, because both individuals happiness are important to the relationship, like the (50/50, sometimes 75/25, and sometimes 25/75) kind of relationship, in that way you fuel each other with good vibes and happy moods.

What are your thoughts?

Marriage, definitely. Neither of you is going to be happy 100% of the time, but that's even if you're not married. That's life. So life is better with that one person if you want to be with them, even as much as you have to make up, which is sometimes the best part.

So many people are out for only themselves and their partner doesn't come first. I love what you mentioned about the 50/50, 75/25, all that, because a lot of people - even on this site - don't understand that or just are too selfish to give it.

I also know a lot of guys who say that they would not be happy if they were married, that they would rather stay single their whole lives. It's those same guys who later say they wish they had a woman who would treat them right and be genuine to them. My brother is a firm example of this.
So even though I could be single for the rest of my life, I wouldn't want to. I have what's called "passion" and "security" and therefore don't wish to pursue a "single and mingle with everybody" lifestyle. Like I said, it's usually those people and the people who get divorced that end up sad, lonely, or depressed. You never see a couple who's stayed married for their whole lives complaining about that.

The way I see it, if you're too selfish to put your partner first, then yes please do stay single. Do the other gender a favor.

The problems come when one does for the other and doesn't feel like there's any benefit or reward In doing so and that is often based upon expectations and the level gratitude from the other.
No one expects anyone to be bowing and scraping but a genuine heartfelt appreciation for one another works wonders.

It's shocking just how demanding people are.

I wish I saw the sacrifices my partner made as I wish he saw mine. I think we both felt unappreciated in our lives and tried our hardest no matter what. Which lead to a build up in resentment and frustration from various other areas in life.

Being Happy has nothing to do with marriage at all
Being happy should be a personal goal, and to each our own definition of what makes us happy, this can be achieved while being married or in any state of relationship - even single.
In a marriage however, it is important to develop an understanding, identify trigger points and adjust oneself to mitigate those triggers. Being transparent, having common goals, being a support systems for your spouse, finding fun things to do, having a good conversation, laughing together, sharing responsibilities etc can make the relationship blissful.

Ultimately, make your home a place of peace, make it inviting and a place where you look forward to go back to. Play an active part in this - Happiness can be sustained better in such an environment
