Are men in their mid-late 30's typically looking for marriage, and would they be into a woman 10 years younger?

When I was 40 I dated a woman who was 29 and I had intended to marry her. The only reason I broke up with her was she was going to give up custody of her kids to move cross country to be with me and I could not bring myself to doing that to her little kids. In order that she didn't blame her kids I had to invent a different reason so she would direct her anger against me and not her kids.

For me personally, it's more about how right the woman is for me as a partner, than her age. I'm 37 and my girlfriend (soon-to-be fiancée) happens to be 9 years younger than me... but I'm spending my life with her because she's the right person. So to answer your question, yes it is possible.

My boyfriend is almost six years older than me. He would have married me if I were ten years younger too because he prefers his women to be younger than he is. I also prefer men to be older than me by at least five years. If I were 25-30 I would ideally be looking into the range of 30-45. I like being younger I guess I feel more protected in some way.

Yeah that’s what I’m looking for right now. A woman in her late 20s to early 30s. I want to have kids. If she’s 35 or older this gets more challenging.

I’ve been in several age gap relationships. But I can’t look to get serious with girl in her early 20s. But a woman in her late 20s to early 30s should (hopefully) be more stable and ready to settle down.

Yes, I would marry a 25 year old at 35, or I suppose a 28 year old at 38 since getting to know her would take several years.
She would need to have enough in common with me to warrant it, but the 10 year gap doesn't bother me.

Why yes, of course. Women are about five years ahead of men in maturity anyway.
A guy's brain doesn't even fully form till about 25.
Don't squander your youth and beauty, for it does not last forever. By thirty you are starting to age, and now have to compete with much younger and prettier women in the dating pool. By forty, it is increasingly difficult to land a suitable mate, for a LOT of reasons.

Well men typically date/marry younger and women date/marry older so yes I would. I'm definitely more mature and have more life experience than when I was 18/19/20 so I feel like I'd have better luck dating and not being so awkward.

I have an age limit I stick to generally. Anyone younger and I (ignoring the fact I would feel creepy) don't think we would be at the same place in life, looking for the same thing etc.

I wouldn't date a girl I had no intention of marrying; I think I'm too old now for that. I'm not sure I even want to date today's women because too many of them for my liking have made themselves ugly rather than beautiful.

Way more than 20 year olds. And yes. I would ONLY marry a girl 10 or more years younger. Women at 30 hit the wall and become pretty undesirable for marriage for most men.
