my boyfriend is 42 and I’m 30. I feel insecure sometimes that there is too much of an age gap. Would you want someone younger or same age. In the movies it’s always the rich guy and a young trophy wife. Do men really desire this? If it was up to me I’d be with someone my own age. But I really love him and he is pretty wealthy.

Honestly after 30 it's all basically the same as long as there is mutual physical attraction, sexual compatibility, and no glaring personality conflicts.

If I were single, and met someone new, who could love my kids but not want more, then sure. If they're in their 30's I don't think the age gap matter too much

If you genuinely like him for him, then that age gap isn't a big deal.

When you get over 30, definitely by 40 age is a lot less of a factor. I think you're going to feel a lot different about this in 10 years. It's up to you if you want to end it over the age gap but I think you'll regret it later.

Yes, the woman should always be younger. And most wealthy guys are going to be older because it takes time to build wealth.

Depends if we are both firmly in adulthood. I would never marry a 20 year old but if she's 26 im 36 or something its fine.
