I have been asked for my hand in marriage by three men in my life so far. I turned them all down because they all wanted a traditional married life, the wife have a bunch of kids and stay home. I don't want to be a stay at home mom and prefer to work and share the load of raising children equally with my husband. Is there any men out there that wants a non traditional marriage where both parents are working and taking care of the children equally.

I said it because the facts support it. My aunt has run a daycare center for three decades and I know exactly what daycare workers are typically like, and the thought of them raising my children makes my hair stand up. My children are more important to me than that. Why aren't yours that important to you?

You have a BA? Congratulations, but why the fuck are you a daycare worker, one of the lowest paid positions ever, and a role that is typically filled by some of the lowest educated people in society?

That's your opinion. I actually worked as a daycare worker and I know from experience that most woman that work are mother's themselves that bring there kids to work with them. Your just getting your facts from your Aunt's experience but not all daycares are like that. If you feel so terrible about daycare workers then you should stay home with the kids instead of degrading woman that do not want to stay home.

Men are not mothers. They cannot nurture a child the way mothers naturally do. The fact you do not innately understand that is a clear indication of what kind of "mother" you will be to your own children.

Bullllllllshiiiiiiit! The VAST majority of daycare workers are young, unmarried women with no children who have no education, no career and no clue what they want to do with their lives yet.

You have to have an associates degree or at least 24 child development college credits to even qualify to work at a daycare. Daycare's pay for 100% of there employees college tuition, employees also gets 50% off of childcare tution, plus healthcare and dental for both them, there kids, and spouse. Retirement benefits, paid material leave, 401k, etc. Plus the higher education you have the more they pay you. Most of the woman I worked with had children and worked in the same classroom that there child was in.

Luckily my father set and example and showed me that men are capable of taking care of there own kids, changing diapers, making them a bottle, swaddling them, etc. My father did it all and that's why I'm going to keep my standards high and wait until I find the right guy. Therefore, I don't feel bad about your comment of me being unmarried. I really just pity your wife, the poor woman has no help with the kids.

Most woman find themselves with little to no adult interaction. When you are a stay home mom (you are the childcare) so if you want to go out with friends or really anywhere you have to bring the kids especially if the kids are newborns.

Not true. The kids go to school and you have the day for yourself, well at least the majority of the day. My sis is a stay at home mom. She meets up with her friends a few times a week for lunch , shopping etc. It's not all doomsday you know lol
