I could do that but I didn't have wedding vows really. I just winged a speech on the spot at my wedding in Hawaii. I could try to make a wing a new one the next time.

I started talking about cavemen and just sort of made stuff up on the spot about cavemen watching films like Quest for Fire. And I said back then they probably didn't have a marriage because if they liked a girl, they could just beat her over the head with a big stick and drag her back to their caves.

But then I said if I was a caveman and I saw my wife, I wouldn't beat her over the head with a stick. I'd try to communicate with her using made-up sign language and sounds. And I would offer food to her and if she's scared I would throw some food from afar and then throw it a bit closer and a bit closer. Then I would charm her and guide her back to my cave and share a whole roasted boar or something with her. Then she would probably fall in love with me and I did it all without beating her over the head.

And that's why I don't need marriage, I said. But I'm happy to marry her anyway because I'm not a caveman anymore and even if I was, I would have been a nice one to her and she would have been my only girl because it's too much of a hassle to have more than one girl.

  The way I said that above might sound sort of bad but I actually got several of the women to cry and one said that's the most romantic thing she ever heard. :-D

Aww you should! I think sometimes that's even more special, that you've been together so long and by renewing vows, it shows you still love, still committed, no regrets, wouldn't change it for the world... I say go for it👰🤵💒
