So me and my husband are doing a visa for him to live in my country. We have been living together in his country for 5 years and we decided to move to my country but he needs a visa to come here so we are doing a spouse visa. A basic requirement to obtain a visa is for him to provide 3 recent payslips and bank statement for 6 months. Last August he was working for 9 months so he was able to provide the payslips and bank statements. He lost his job in October and since October he has not found a new job. It is now nearly June and he has not worked since October. I know there are not a lot of jobs in his area but I obviously speak to him a lot and he has not even been looking for a job. He just lives with his mother. There have been delays with our visa because we need more documents so it may come to him having to find a job and work for another 3 months to obtain the payslips and bank statement if the last ones expire. Im so angry at him. He moans that the visa is taking so long but won't go out to find a job to make it easier for us. What do you think about this?
Superb Opinion
I recommend Marriage Counseling especially for him because something tells me that he probably doesn't want to leave the country or if he really does want to leave, Immigration Paperwork is not something that you and your spouse should be delaying on because if this continues, the Paperwork can take more years to process and they might not process it at all if you both keep delaying on this. I am in the same situation and I tell my lady be sure to have all of her paperwork if not, I cannot support her in her own country because she is going to live me here in the U. S.
