I would love and adore a housewife. If she was willing to take care of the house and meals and all the non work things, I’d be so motivated and could really focus on my career. I already make enough to support her if we move to the burbs

I'm married to one. It works for us.

I'm pretty well compensated, so if she was working between income tax and payroll tax she would pay about 42% of her salary in federal taxes. It's not worth it unless she finds something she really wants to do, and if she does, I don't care how much or how little she is paid.

depends if she plans to be a more traditional feminine housewife or some type of new age feminist one. because if she's a feminist then I'd rather be single and take care of my own house work alone.

Besides, the modern world makes it way too easy for a woman to file a no-fault divorce the minute she gets bored. They can't be trusted under the current rules. "Love" can't work without trust.

I’m a housewife it’s what I prefer and most women in my culture ended up becoming one too. The smart ones like me get an education before marriage though just in case
