I got a promotion?

I got a promotion at work a big one and it's like my husband doesn't care my coworkers bought me this beautiful bouquet that i brought home saying congratulations and he acted like he didn't see it... is it bad that i want to get celebrated or for my husband to say i'm proud of you? I don't need it i want it.

Getting a promotion like that is a huge deal! It's worth celebrating for taking the next step up in your career field that you worked so hard to aquire!

Something tells me that your husband is either absent from his emotions and/or something is bothering him so much that he feels numb to avoid any conflicts. Why not talk with him about it and see what's going on? There are milestones in life worth praising and this is one of them! For your husband to feel apathetic like that is very concerning, not only in this situation but for the health of the relationship/marriage going forward. Just have a conversation with him about the matter and see where it goes. Don't forgot to tell him how you feel so that you're heard as well!

If he truly loves you he will celebrate your accomplishments. But I'm going to go ona limb here and say he's jealous or feels "emasculated" that his wife has a leg up over him. Which is a bullshit in the grand scheme of things namely in marriage you are supposed to celebrate each other's accomplishments.
Not to mention how this economy is so bad that a pay raise can litteraly mean the difference between a full gas tank and a full meal.
