Men and Women! I'm terms of being marriage which type of relationship would be the most ideal in your eyes?

Traditional Marriage: In this relationship there is of course both a man and a woman. The guy you with personally believes chivalry isn't dead and that men should be the leader in the household in order to protect his wife and children. He doesn't believe that women should be out working because it is his duty as the man to fetch the money for the family. Now if you are looking for a woman, don't expect your girl to agree with going out and making her own money or earning money for the family. Because with the traditional women she wants to be taking cared of and being the prime homemaker, while you be out and having a long day, your girl might dress really beautiful and present you with a fresh cook dinner and a clean house once you get off of work.

Modern Marriage: Usually in this one there really no strict gender conforming because either the man or woman can take up the role as the breadwinner or homemaker. Or instead of one sticking with the other the two of you can compromise and each switch turns you know do everything 50/50.

Gay Marriage: If you are a man who aren't interested in women than you definitely be more suitable in being married to another man and discussing how you and your partner do responsibilities. The same applies to women who isn't interested in being with a man, you and your future wife can both discuss about how the two of you will take on responsibilities.

Single Life: You are the gentleman or lady who ain't really looking for romance because you prefer to be by yourself and enjoyed the solitude and being able to control literally everything about your house and precious time.

I want to have an old fashioned traditional marriage where the men go out for work and bring home the money and the women stay at home and clean the house and watch and take care of the children.

I prefer the modern wife or husband who doesn't fully commit to the outdated gender roles. Because I personally believe both the men and women should switch between being the breadwinner and the homemaker.

I am a guy or a girl who isn't interested in the opposite gender, I want to be married with my gender only.

Sorry, man but I ain't interested in anyone I prefer the single man or lady lifestyle. I enjoy my own company much more than being with another person.

My ideal relationship would consist of being with a rich woman who'd pursue me and commit to me long term, living together and all that, without the need for an actual marriage, due to my lack of faith. I'm terms of gender roles, it'd be like traditional ones, except she'd play more of the male role and be more dominant. Now, I wouldn't be a push-over or blindly obey her or anything, but I like someone who can lead and initiate in some ways. No kids either, because I don't want them. Ideally, neither of us would have to work or at least no more than a few hours a day, because she'd keep the money coming in legal ways e. g. renting properties, etc, so we'd just have the whole day to do whatever. I'd mostly do house work, because I do want to be useful and provide some benefits.

Above in the ideal, although I'm not sure if counts as the modern option, but if it doesn't, then single, because the reality is, you can't miss what you've never had and it's easy to think that someone is perfectly compatible just because they're attractive.

Just make sure man to have a backup plan in case the marriage doesn't work out. It would suck to risk having a divorce without no way to at least making income for yourself.

Well, that's part of the reason as to why there'd be no marriage, divorce sounds like a nightmare, long term without marriage is ideal for me, but yeah, a backup plan would have to be in place or at least taken into consideration.

Definitely the modern approach. I like the idea of equal contribution plus two incomes are much better than one and allow for a much more comfortable lifestyle, more vacations, and better happiness overall 🙏 I respect everyone's opinion tho, some things work better for different people

His job has odd hours, and most nurse positions are not flexible. He might leave anywhere from 7 to 930 in the morning, and be back between 3 and 6pm. He also gets a lot of random days off. I would end up missing out on quite a lot.

I guess in a 50/50 relationship then yeah you would each have your own money and it could be unequal like you said. But for us it's not like that. It's not HIS money that he makes. It's OUR money. If I want something, I buy it. Neither of us buys anything big without discussing it together first.

Honestly, I would prefer option B and if not, then option C. When I think of marriage/LTR, I think about being the breadwinner, working so I can spoil my husband and kids (while looking absolutely stunning, obviously lol). I literally can't imagine a dream more beautiful than imagining my future boyfriend caring for the kids and maybe teaching them about whatever hobbies he's into.

This is something I'm conflicted on since I know most people would prefer a traditional relationship where the man leads and provides. I understand there's, in part, a evolutionary biological reason for it and I understand that, I'll still see myself as the woman and him as the man, with some modernity. In reality, I'll probably remain single.

Because at the end marriage is a partnership it wouldn't be a partnership or one person in the relationship is doing all the work.
