My wife told me (we just got married a month ago) that guys are hotter when they have a wedding ring on. She says they represent safety and security. Is any of this true or is she just being insecure?

I think it is more a sign of the marriage commitment than anything else. That could include safety and security. I am not married (yet) but when we do get married, I would expect him to wear his wedding band unless he was doing something where it would get damaged.

He is showing everyone that he is married and not single by wearing his ring. Would I be worried if he didn't? Nope. Not in the slightest would I be concerned that he would cheat or even trying to appear single.

I have way too much trust in him to be insecure like that. I have never had the slightest feeling he would ever cheat. That trust is a very important part of a strong relationship.

The whole wearing the wedding band to me is more of a symbol of the promise we made to each other and that we are happily married. Other women may have an entirely different view.
