With the marriage rate falling off the charts and the divorce rate going to the moon, is there really any good reason to get married? Spending enough money for a down payment on a home just for a weddings is one of the craziest things you can do. 90 percent of college women file for divorce.
it's definitely headed that way. the times of eternal long term relationships that our grandparents and maybe our parents had is dying out. the last marriage I remember that lasted for eternity was Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.
other marriages that I thought would last a lifetime would end up in divorce, even perfect men like Tom Brady, Jason Momoa, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, the Rock etc have been through divorce (the average man stands even less chance)
sure we can point the finger at the man as usual but people are quite short sighted when it comes to understanding limitations and realistic expectations. and women be out here filing for divorce for some of the stupidest reasons, not only taking away the husband's resources and kids but stripping him of his pride, dignity and reputation.
people be out here be shaming Leonardo Di Caprio, but honestly, he's a smart cookie and knows how to protect himself regardless of whether you approve of his dating lifestyle or not.

Marriage will always exist because our Creator God Intelligently Designed us in a fashion where Purpose, Form, Function and Existence depend upon Marriage. Why do you think the attack upon Family and Marriage? Genesis 1 and Genesis 3 can lay out why the woman chases the man.
This is why Marriage will remain: And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth (Gen 1:28)."
Same-Sex engaging lacks Purpose, Form, and Function to meet that mandate. Be fruitful and multiply (Pop out the babies).

In the past? I have my wedding set up for March 20th. I'll still be a virgin on my wedding.
Meanwhile more people are fighting, more women are wasting their fertile years with prolonged cohabitation trial periods and less men are committing, I'm doing it the right way. If more of us went back to waiting till marriage, there would be no more ''We've been together for 8 years, why won't he propose'' stories. Since those girls are sacrificing their years for sex, it's time to make the man sacrifice sex for commitment. I ain't giving it away without commitment.
The funny thing is many men think it's too much to ask them to wait till marriage. Too much? What about the poor women waiting years and years for that proposal he'll never give her? So what's wrong with making him wait for that sex he won't get until after my wedding?

So the woman has to stop nagging and patiently wait for that proposal but those men can't wait till marriage because ''Omg it's the end of the world, I'm craving so bady''? Oh the irony.
The only difference is there is a time limit for a woman to have kids aka a biological clock. There is no specific time limite/biological clock for a man to have sex. - +1 y
@ChiTown33
Exactly. Those men are wasting the women's fertile years. Our best years to have a kid is in our early-mid 20's. It's very easy for them to tell them ''You're nagging, I'm not ready for commitment yet''. Yeah but for sex they are ready immediately.
Perhaps I've always like analyzing things and not being clouded too much by emotions. Those women staying with those bfs are focusing on feelings too much and not realizing their years are getting wasted and that man is getting everything without commitment. - +1 y
Those women are nagging because those men are taking all their sweet time. There is a limit to a woman's patience too. After 5+ years, that woman those men keep as just girlfriend will be almost 30 by then. The ''girl wait, don't nag him, don't rush him, he'll propose, wait for him to be ready'' doesn't work in that case. She doesn't have all the time in the world to form a family.

You should watch ALISON ARMSTRONG on youtube, dear. This woman has studied men for over 30 years. She understands men better than men understand themselves. It will give you so much insight to your husband way of thinking.

If he doesn't want to wait, he's not the man you want to marry. Only the great men are willing to wait for sex with the women he want to marry. You are what good men are looking for in a wife and the kind of woman he wants to be the mother to his children. A virgin woman is worth her weight in gold.

You hit the nail on the head when you say "those women focus too much on feelings". I say this to women repeatedly on here and get shouted down for it. But "feelings", are most women's undoing. Using thier hearts too much and thier heads not enough. I mean this is true of both genders. But given the nature of women and how they bond through thier emotions I think they're particularly at a disadvantage here. So I agree more practical women are less likely to fall into this trap. You continue to preach this. Because I'm a guy, the enemy 🤣. They won't hear me.

See how that works out for you. Men are going MGTOW. Marriage is dying like flowers in the fall.

On a side note, I have been married for 45 years.

Are you married yet? You are only 22. There's so many of you women after the same men that those men will never get married. The rich men have so many women fighting for them that they can get a different women whenever they want to change.

After about 5 or 10 years, you will get bored with married life and destroy your marriage for some excitement. It happens 80 percent of the time. Just remember, men are not marring single mothers.

What do you mean, make stuff up? Statics show that the marriage rates fall lower every year. Nothing in society points to that getting better instead of getting worse. Women don't want to marry or have kids. It falls lower and lower. You ladies are into the hook up cultural and the men are loving it. Sex is as easy to get as a gallon of milk these days. prove me wornge

They say over 50 percent of women are single today.

So go single and be happy.

@Danielle93 I agree. I really all the MGTOW would just shut the fuck up and go their own way already.

@Danielle93 women are not marriage materials any more. They want to be the wife and husband in the relationship. Stay single and childless. You never have be concerned with anyone happiness but yourself.

I'm happy without any names. Whoever needs to associate themselves to any movement really has no life.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 ySadly yes. I'm not saying things Can't change. But most women today simply don't want to make that kind of a commitment anymore. And without women demanding that. Most men are not going to seek it. Most guys KNOW today that a majority of the women WILL sleep with him without any kind of commitment. And historically women have always kept guys honest by insisting they wait (typically for marriage). It FORCED the guy to get to know her. To understand what made her tick. And while it may have not been an intentional plan. This making him wait gave time for a bond to form between the two.
As I said this CAN change. But most women today simply don't want marriage anymore. Ask most and they'll tell you they want a guys commitment, a guys allegiance, but they want the option of opting out anytime they start to grow weary of it.
Marriage may become a thing again. But not till women actually want it.

See your point but as they say, women control sex and men control marriage.
+1 yDivorce rates (at least in US) is dropping unfortunately marriage rates are plummeting way faster. Men don’t want to provide and protect and women don’t want to be wives. It’s a giant mess if you’re under 30 yikes I’m not jealous at all

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI don't think it's a thing of the past, at least for us. Women still want to get married. It's men who don't seem to want to marry anymore. You guys are the ones with the problem.

The marriage rates say different. The divorce rates say you ladies don't want to stay married.
Opinion Owner+1 yI didn't say women want to stay married. If a guy we marry doesn't live up to our needs, we will find one who does. Is that not common sense?

When A woman can divorce her husband so easy and take over half of everything he has worked for, your right it's the men not wanting to cut their own throat with a marriage.
- +1 y
It is one of the worse financially investments a man can take. Women are paid to destroy him financially.
- +1 y
It doesn't make sense, because you can only take a christianity based marriage vow once. As the vow is "for better or worse, till death do we divorce".
- +1 y
Men's problems are women being untrustworthy.
+1 yIf people are happier without it, maybe that is a good thing.
