So they want love and a soulmate but doesn't want to go through the paperwork to make it legal and put it on paper cause personally I don't agree with the government or whatever getting involved in my love life, no half of nothing, no paperwork, she gets a wedding and ring but not put on paper.

The government wasn't always involved with marriage, so in my opinion, any permanent union of a sexual couple, is marriage, whether it is legally bound or not.
