They want to steal from and harm the man if the relationship ends. Women often want their ex to suffer. That is why many of them get upset if their ex finds another person for a relationship and is happy. They also use courts to keep kids away from fathers and try to turn the kids against their fathers to harm their ex too. I have seen it plenty of times with some of my former students and their parents.

Yes. The court can throw out any contract. Like you can't sign away your rights to vote or first born child in a contract.

So the best limit of a prenup is only for inheritance and wealth. Those are easy to define and generally accepted. Harder ones tend to be "rights" such as parental rights or shared ownership that the cour might think it's too imbalanced.

And yes in deed the answer is to never get married I subconsciously made that decision at the age 20 or 21 years old going on 40 years ago. Though the years I had given thought to dating again and marriage still ran though my mind up until I would say the early to mid 2000's because I wanted children of my own. And it took me the better part of my time to finally admit to myself I never want to date again much less get married. Deep down I would still love to have children of my own and that hits me especially around the time everyone else's children are opening gift's. But now I know for certain it wasn't meant to happen and I can finally put those thoughts behind me now.

I don't speak for other women because every women is different but for me, I want money so I can take care of those I love and care for. We have a prenup and we both totally agreed upon it. Its not a matter of trust. Think about it that way: either it never has to be used than why care about it? If it has to be used it has a meaning and reason to be, because at this point there is potantially no trust LEFT. (There would be a realistic probability that without it I could ruin his cooperation if we ever split.)

Similar with hospital advance directive actually. It never should come to use but if it ever does be glad you have it.

A prenup is 9/10 not worth the paper it's written on anyway. It can be contested and usually are. But the whole idea is that both parties are forthright what the other can claim. But this is usually aspirational and a judge will throw most of it's terms out. The lawyer will demand a settle out of court instead.

As for working. This is the 2020's, you need BOTH parents working to keep a happy household. The "housewife" era is over. You get a nanny, babysitter or contract cleaner instead to help in the housework.
