Possible? As in can it physically happen? Yes.

Prudent? Depends on the circumstances and how soon until the wedding. If one has lost their job during the time of preparation for the wedding, that's one thing. Of course, they ought to be looking, applying, and interviewing.

If they're sitting at home playing video games and watching TV and making no attempts at all, then they shouldn't even be in a relationship to begin with.
