My husband much rather do nothing than help me?

i have been trying to fix our attic for quote some time i asked my husband to help me with it and he refuses to help me until he fixed his car that has been sitting outside for over a month, because we do not have the funds. The things for the attic are already bought he just refuses to help. why?

because he doesn't want to and he's a shitty husband -shrug- he could care less what you want to do and only cares about what he wants to do. this goes deeper than just fixing the attic or car.

Offer to hire someone super expensive. I bet he’ll move then because he doesn't want his money spent
