Option C - Growing apart/realizing you and spouse are 2 different people from how you first met.

My wife and I have dealt with all the other options - some of were my own fault, others her own. But as long as we both want to work on things, fix what doesn't work and willing to improve for each other, then there's always a chance. We have survived all this and thrived.

But if it will come a day - and may that day never come - where one of us says to the other "I don't love you anymore" and the other replies "Cool, me too", then it will be over.

You and your other half are different people, that's a given, but hopefully compatible enough.

You can choose to deal with their lying, disrespectful, and discourteous behaviour. And even perhaps cheating. Marriage is about duty, after all.

But if you cannot see any future potential in the relationship, growth for you both, building prosperity, emotionally and financially, nobody is benefiting and doesn't look like they ever will be, maybe it's time to accept that and try something new.

This is a very good answer. Honestly this is where I'm at right now in my marriage. It feels like there is no growth. And lately we've just been fighting. It sucks because for the past few years, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and I had some hope that things were going to change, but unfortunately they didn't... 😞

Cheating on the woman's part. For some reason women are more likely to accept a cheater back, probably because other women want their man.

I was cheated on one time by an ex. We tried to work it out and settle our differences and she gave Freudian excuses for what she did blaming me. Ultimately I lost interest in her sexually after that, she wanted to get engaged again but I just couldn't. I could forgive but not forget. I ended up in a relationship with her younger sister.
