The main reason I don't marry a foreigner is because I don't want me or her being seperated after bonding to eachother.
If this risk did not exist, I'd already be married to a woman from japan who I had everything in common with. If such a woman in Canada existed, the same logic would apply in that scenario. So I'm not personally against the idea, but because others are, deportation risks exist, which sways me against doing it out of fear of loss.
I'm a Canadian that used to have 2 business in the US. I have many good friends there but marrying someone from the US is not something I would consider. I've always thought Canadian girls were a lot nicer
