The difference between marriage and just being an unmarried couple is, that when you are married, you are making a commitment to the other person to always be there no matter what.

To have and to hold
For richer, for poorer
In sickness and in health
For better, for worse
Until Death us do part.

That bold part - that includes getting fat...

Any person who doesn't understand this is too immature to be married...
and, frankly, too immature to do much else other than play video games and watch cartoons.

Nope, that is all part of better or worse part of the vows.
Women aren't the only ones that gain weight.
I've sent plenty of men that are walking around with a spare tire.
Add the fact that women's bodies change after having kids adds to the issue.
If that is the same couple in the pictures the guy has also put on weight.

Well that guy got fat too so he would have a lot of nerve. And I mean she bears his kids and puts up with his crap and he leaves because she got a bit chubby. I know there are men that shallow but I like to pretend they don't exist. Also, everyone should make an effort.

I think that's stupid. Plus, my mom used to be heavy, and my dad still loved her all those years and even up until now (she has lost weight and we're happy for her). Why make a higher commitment and get married if you're just going to leave them?

If a man married a thin woman, since women divorce their husbands for no possible valid reason other than to take his money, it is appropriate for men to divorce their wives when they have very good reasons such as she had become fat. After all, fat women have no sexual market value except a negative value.

Number one, I'd never marry a thin woman, but even if I did, I'd never consider leaving her for something as trivial as that. I don't expect her to cater to me -- it's my job to cater to her wants needs and desires.

Should be in the marriage vows , but the divorce rate would 3 times higher since so many women get fat and the men don’t gain as much as them , I would hope my future wife would keep a healthy weight if she wants to be around awhile
