After all he promised for better or worse, not through thick or thin.
NO!
Of course not!
The difference between marriage and just being an unmarried couple is, that when you are married, you are making a commitment to the other person to always be there no matter what.
To have and to hold
For richer, for poorer
In sickness and in health
For better, for worse
Until Death us do part.
That bold part - that includes getting fat...
Any person who doesn't understand this is too immature to be married...
and, frankly, too immature to do much else other than play video games and watch cartoons.
Yes, all of this. Well said!
Nope, that is all part of better or worse part of the vows.
Women aren't the only ones that gain weight.
I've sent plenty of men that are walking around with a spare tire.
Add the fact that women's bodies change after having kids adds to the issue.
If that is the same couple in the pictures the guy has also put on weight.
Well that guy got fat too so he would have a lot of nerve. And I mean she bears his kids and puts up with his crap and he leaves because she got a bit chubby. I know there are men that shallow but I like to pretend they don't exist. Also, everyone should make an effort.
I think that's stupid. Plus, my mom used to be heavy, and my dad still loved her all those years and even up until now (she has lost weight and we're happy for her). Why make a higher commitment and get married if you're just going to leave them?
Moreover, if a guy was crippled in a war. His girlfriend will stay with him during the awards and parades,; however, it will not be long before she has found another guy. Only one girl, Linda Wheeler stayed with the guy until he died. See "My all American" as described by Darrel Royal, Texas football coach.
Then that's not dating and marrying for love, something completely different.

As long as he tells her upfront that that is his expectation, then sure, get a divorce. It's fairer than just cheating if he's no longer attracted to her.
are you a bi or straight?
its just a common question nothing else
@Anastasiya_2565 it is not a common question AT ALL. Who are you trying to gaslight?
If a man married a thin woman, since women divorce their husbands for no possible valid reason other than to take his money, it is appropriate for men to divorce their wives when they have very good reasons such as she had become fat. After all, fat women have no sexual market value except a negative value.
Number one, I'd never marry a thin woman, but even if I did, I'd never consider leaving her for something as trivial as that. I don't expect her to cater to me -- it's my job to cater to her wants needs and desires.
Yep, I'd throw her under the bus! LOLOL Well, honestly, I stay thin, and exercise hard three or four days a week and would marry someone that shared the same lifestyle, and her getting heavy would probably not happen.
No why would her weight matter? A relationship is about love not being skinny or fat
@Apple1996 The asker is obviously not female, nor 14 years old.
@Nikki1989 my guess is that she's 35 year old man lol
I have wondered about this user asking this question having looked at some of her other question and answers. I have noticed trends between her and several other accounts. I have reason to suspect her of being a guy operating multiple accounts.
@DarkLegacy I wouldn't be surprised. So many guys do that
@DarkLegacy would love to video chat the asker and do a face reveal to see who it really is
I very much doubt they would agree to that.
@DarkLegacy probably not lol
nope... unless they have some agreement in the beginning that they will stay married for better or worse, sickness and in health, if you stay skinny, etc, etc
Honestly, if the marriage about aesthetics they should not say "I do." in the first place.
If they don't both understand the marriage vows, they have no business GETTING married!
For better or worse works both ways, im on about your last question i have just answered where you mentioned about the guy becoming disabled.
It's a simple lack of respect on the reason why a couple should even get married.
Clever line.
Nope. If he has a problem with her weight, time to communicate.
Should be in the marriage vows , but the divorce rate would 3 times higher since so many women get fat and the men don’t gain as much as them , I would hope my future wife would keep a healthy weight if she wants to be around awhile
If you let yourself get unhealthy then you dont respect yourself. I am not going have a partner that doesn't respect herself.
If all he sees in her is her weight, he doesn’t deserve her.
I don't think so, it's immoral act according to me
Of course no
He should be concerned if she's too obese and help her get back
Not sure why everyone just assumes that once your wife becomes fat, you just stop loving her and want to get away from her as soon as possible.
thick and thin is another way of saying "better or worse"
İt is not because of the woman. The family like just eating
I would say no. But sometimes being attracted to partners matters in reality. Women also do it all the time.
No not at all dear
Thats a change in contract. They never signed up for that.
if he does , just means he didn't marry her for LOVE!
Nope but he should warn her that she’s becoming fat
Married for life
No, that’s not a valid reason to divorce
No, absolutely not. That's stupid
No. That's just silly.
No that’d just be stupid
No. He shouldn't
Fat is worse
No..
